Recount

I seem to recall Mr. Coleman saying something along the lines of "the votes are counted, Mr. Franken should accept the count and gracefully bow out, rather than drag this out at taxpayer expense."

Will he follow his own advice? Somehow, I am not expecting he will.

I thought that same thing when I read that Franken was leading, and Coleman was crying... (oh foul)... I remember what you had said about Coleman saying that it was never going to be fair.. blah blah blah...
I say.. the voters have spoken.. Al should be on his way to Washington!

Ha. Touche. I suspect you're right. The "right" thing to do was so much easier to see when Mr. C. thought he was winning.

If Franken gets it (looks like he will), I just hope he doesn't make us the laughingstock of the nation again, a la Jesse Ventura.

I thought the same thing. Coleman looked like such an idiot claiming victory when a recount was *mandated* by state law. I have to admit though, I was disappointed in the Franken campaign for joining in and clamining THEY were going to win a week or two ago when they had NO FREAKING CLUE whether that would be the case or not.
