We based this rating system on the Iron Chef judging system. "Appearance" is judged prior to tasting. "Taste" includes seasonings, flavor and texture. "Creativity" is our category for how well I did finding a recipe that the boys would eat without complaining.

I happen to love Beef Stroganoff with LOADS of mushrooms.. but I understand those who don't like them...
