I am so freaked out by raccoons. We used to have some living in our house when I was growing up, maybe that's why. They can grow HUGE, and they can be really mean, too. They look cute from far away but up close, yikes.
they are well on their way to training me to feed them ... they bang around until I turn the light on, then I throw them bread crusts out the window ... my great-aunt in Texas has a whole family of raccoons she cares for, putting food out every evening. She gets to see the babies each spring.
I only like them with a solid wall of glass between me and them!
