Since we got back to town from our trip, I have been just kind of floating along on a cloud, so incredibly satisfied with life right now. It's been a wonderful feeling, one which I am enjoying because I guess I am cynical enough to realize it most likely won't last. But for now, the kids are good, the dogs are good, my work is balanced and therefore good, my political intensity is balanced and therefore good, I'm happy with my house and car, and I love the crisp clean autumn weather.If it takes a cruise in the Caribbean to bring me to this state of contentedness, I guess I will just have to force myself to take one annually. Right?
